Third World Charm

The airports in this part of the world are so different from the ones in the big cities - namely Pearson Int'l - I almost expected to see goats or cattle sauntering across the tarmac.

There are no fancy lights and signals here, just the rudimentary markings necessary for take-off and landing. That's one more reason for me to adore Barbados!

If you're longing for goats and cows (and maybe ducks) across the runway, go to Guyana.. nothing else like it - that's miles away from ordinary.
