They must have one heck of an electric bill!
Traffic hazard aside ('cause ppl slow down or stop on Caledonia to look at it), it's absolutely beautiful. This display was definitely a labour of love.

Did this blog just totally change its appearance today? Normally it's very pink, but this is... well, not. Or it could just be me. I haven't been eating my share of vegetables recently. Perhaps this is what happens when one does that: things appear less pink. Okay, I'll stop now.
Do you miss the pink?
It was something I could just, y'know, count on. Like the calendar saying "2006" at the top. But now it, and the pink, are gone, and what am I to do?
Well, the pink is a lot like you, so that should answer your question.

I was inspired to go a little less pink this year. That should make the transition easier for you, right J? You'll associate the overly pink template with 2006 and this new slightly pink one with 2007.
Ah, I see... the new, largely-pinkless design is a way to remind myself in another way that the year has changed. Brilliant!
